Premiere Staffing Services was founded in 2014 by Mark Smith and Will Layfield in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The company began by supplying temporary workers to local businesses and quickly built trusted partnerships with major condominium management companies and the City of Gulf Shores. As demand grew, Premiere expanded throughout Baldwin County and into Atmore, increasing its ability to support a wider range of industries. Today, our team provides dependable staffing for hospitality, restaurants, administrative roles, manufacturing, production, and warehouse operations.
Our leadership team brings more than thirty years of staffing experience along the Alabama Gulf Coast. Mark Smith has worked with several successful staffing firms and has deep expertise in management, sales, and operations. Earlier in his career, he played a key role in the growth of ACO Employment as Vice President of Sales. Will Layfield oversees management, accounting, and operations. He founded ACO Employment in Mobile in 1994 and grew it into the largest staffing company in the region, earning Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year in 2001 before selling the company to an international staffing firm in 2007. Their combined experience guides Premiere Staffing Services’ commitment to reliable service, strong client relationships, and high‑quality workforce solutions.

No. Our firm is paid by the companies who hire our employees. No percentage of employee paychecks will be taken out by us, outside fo taxes.
